How do I make a Booking?
To book our services, select a suitable package from our Ratecard and fill out the Contact/Inquiry form or contact us directly. Review our Terms and Conditions before making a commitment. Once booked, we’ll provide a questionnaire and assign a photographer and Creative Director (if applicable) for a pre-production meeting. We’re thrilled to be part of your event and can’t wait to capture your special moments.
When can I meet the team?
We prefer to meet with you as soon as possible once you have paid your deposit. We may meet for a quick conversation at your earliest convenience. If you’re short on time or live out of town, we can set up a video conference using Zoom, FaceTime, or WhatsApp.
How many photos will we get?
The number of photographers at your event varies based on your chosen package. We suggest adding an extra photographer for events with more than 120 guests to ensure comprehensive coverage. Additionally, you have the option to have a dedicated creative director who will assist with coordination and making you picture-ready. Our goal is to provide a friendly and professional service to capture all the special moments of your event.
Do we own the rights to the images?
In our contract, we offer a copyright release that allows you to print the images at any lab. Obtaining the copyright, on the other hand, is a another story. As the creators, we own the copyright.
Will I be refunded if I cancel my event?
To confirm your reservation, we request a 50% non-refundable payment. If you pay the deposit, you will not be entitled to a refund if you cancel since alternative employment offers may have been refused for your scheduled date. If you paid in full, you will receive a 50% refund at a fair time.
What is the Term for Retouched Images?
At Eqonsept Photography, we take great care in enhancing the visual appeal of your images. When we retouch an image, our focus shifts towards refining specific elements within the picture.
This includes addressing any imperfections such as messy hair, uneven makeup, skin blemishes, or unwanted elements, resulting in a flawless and radiant look.
Additionally, we may apply artistic filters and colour-grading techniques as needed to create a distinctive and remarkable final image, ensuring it’s truly picture-perfect.
Are you able to provide printing services?
Yes, we provide a variety of printing services. We may print images shot by us or capture them on a phone, tablet, or point-and-shoot camera on a variety of materials, including stone, metal, wood, pillows, canvas, frames, blankets, and decorations. We provide several sizes, so please contact us for print rates.
What do you mean by Unprocessed Jpegs?
The term commonly used to describe unprocessed JPEG images is “raw photographs.” These are the initial images captured directly by our cameras without any additional alterations or applied effects. Raw photographs faithfully depict your day’s moments before any editing or manipulation is applied, preserving the authenticity of the scenes captured.
What if my event lasts longer than expected?
We will remain for an additional 30 minutes at no cost. Following that, we will negotiate whether to continue shooting with you, and the hourly rate will be adjusted appropriately.
What are your payment and pricing policies?
We have several pricing and collections available, as well as personalised quotations. Please fill out the form on our booking page to receive an exact price, and we will respond as soon as possible. To reserve your date, a non-refundable booking deposit of 40% is needed, with the remaining 60% payment payable roughly 2 months before your event. Before the event, full payment is necessary. Payment for overtime and additional items, on the other hand, can be made after the event.
Do you send out every photograph you take?
No, we do not provide duplicates, fuzzy photographs, or unfavourable shots that may detract from the overall quality of the final product. For delivery, we carefully choose and edit the best photographs.
When and how can I schedule your services?
Please visit our booking page and fill out the form to reserve our services. We recommend reserving 3-12 months ahead of time, as soon as you have a date and a location in mind. However, if your event is approaching soon, please phone +233244141939 to check for availability.
How would you describe your photographic style?
We are most renowned for capturing natural, unposed, and timeless moments. Our goal is to document the day in an organic and photojournalistic manner.
How long will it take for our product to be received?
Once your special day is captured, we will provide you with the unprocessed JPEG files on a flash drive within 4-6 working days, allowing you to choose your preferred images.
Depending on the package selected, you’ll have seven working days to make your selections, typically ranging from 160-300 images. After your selection, we’ll proceed with post-processing and editing, delivering the soft copies within 14-21 working days.
We’ll keep you updated with highlights via Dropbox as we progress, and the final video will be ready in 40-60 working days, while complete deliverables like photobooks and frames will be delivered within 70-90 working days.
Express services are available upon request at an additional cost, and you can pick up the final proofs at our office or opt for doorstep delivery with applicable charges.
Will Ezekiel, the CEO/Creator, photograph my event?
While Ezekiel would love to photograph every event, his availability varies according to the day. Rest assured that our skilled photographers will be present to record your occasion and deliver good results.
What if I accidentally delete my photographs or videos?
We are not required to store your photos for more than 24 months. If you require extra downloads within this time, you will be charged GHS 1000. When you receive the downloaded files from us, we recommend that you make at least one copy. In addition, we provide the option of paying for storage for up to 3 years. Will our images be posted on the Internet/Social Media?
At Eqonsept Photography, we value your privacy and ownership of the images we capture. While we do not automatically feature your pictures on our social media or blogs, we may select certain images, with your permission, to showcase our work.
As per copyright law, both you, as our client, and Eqonsept Photography have shared ownership rights to the images, allowing us to share and reproduce them. However, if you prefer full copyright, it can be obtained at an additional charge, granting you exclusive control over the images and restricting our rights to share or commercialize them without your consent.
Do you provide your services outside of Accra and Ghana?
Yes, we are available all around the world. However, for events held outside of Accra or Ghana, travel, lodging, and vehicle rental expenses must be paid.
How experienced are your event photographers and videographers?
Over 1,800 assignments have been shot by our featured photographers and videographers since 2000. Weddings, celebrations, business events, and photo sessions are among the jobs.
Is it possible for us to preserve the raw photos and/or video footage?
We give high-resolution digital files for images that function as the equivalent of “negatives.” You have the right to make personal copies and freely distribute them. We maintain the copyright, however, and may use your photographs for promotional reasons, competitions, professional evaluations, and so on. Please let us know if you do not want your photographs published. In terms of videos, we can consider the potential of distributing raw footage for a price.
Can I use my money for a future date if I need to reschedule my event?
Yes, you can apply your deposit at a later time. If there are modifications, new rates may apply. The new date’s availability and any revisions will be discussed, as we wish to meet your demands while keeping our previous bookings in mind.
How many photographers and videographers will be present at my event?
The quantity of photographers and videographers assigned to your project is determined by the package you choose. At each event, at least one photographer and one cameraman will be present.
